Be the Solution

I have heard many church folk talk about how it would be nice if their church would provide certain ministries, groups, events, ect. The problem is that yeah, it would be nice. It would be great! When you ask if they want to start that group or ministry, they are quick to say “I can’t do that” or “I’m not qualified”.

There are so many in church today that have abilities and gifts they don’t even know they have. If the church (and I do mean the people not the building) were busy doing the business of the kingdom instead of talking about it, this world would be a much different place.  We need people that will stop talking about what they can’t do and start stepping up and at least trying or making an attempt, or asking other leaders how to get started.

We have so much unused ability and talent in our churches today because of fear. Are you not doing something that God has laid on your heart because you are afraid? Imagine if Jesus’ disciples had said they didn’t have the ability to speak and tried to get someone else to speak for them. Where would the church be? Jesus took uneducated fisherman who had no leadership ability and turned them into the pillars of our faith. Everything they did laid down the foundation for the kingdom of God to be established in the Earth today. Why? Because they decided to follow Him.

So my question to you is will you continue to point out the problems or will you start being a part of the solution?
