Easter is Over. Now What are You Going to Do?
Journey Church had an incredible day yesterday! I was also encouraged by the reports of salvations and baptisms from other churches yesterday.
My question is this Easter is over, what are you going to do now? It is easy to sit on the laurels of a successful day, but where is God directing you now? What is God burdening your heart with today? What message is burning in your soul that you have to communicate, or you feel like you will die? How can we show the love of Christ after Easter?
There are still people who do not know Him. Don’t get comfortable.

For the dedicated Christian, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus is a daily event. Although I enjoyed the special events at my church yesterday, I sensed it was still a continuation of my daily relationship with Him.
Here’s a humorous story in this regards. I once spent four years as a licensed Assemblies of God minister and a monk in Catholic-based monastery. Its true, but not the point. On Pentecost Sunday, one of the sisters asked me, “So Jim, do you celebrate Pentecost Sunday at your church?” I just looked at her with an amused smile, and she finally said, “Well, I guess you’d celebrate Pentecost EVERY Sunday, right?” I replied, “Yeah, it kinda works that way.” For me, everyday is a celebration of His resurrection. I just kinda works that way.
Thanks for the good post.
Blessings,
Jim
